McLaren P1: yours for only $ 1.2 million


Recently in Beverly Hills, in the context of a private meeting, the British manufacturer had a fantastic P1 coupled with its technical and its official list price, and in which we also found the posted price of the fireball to come.

McLaren 12 C Can-Am presented


When in Pebble Beach / California, you can marvel at the McLaren yesterday 12 C Can-Am Edition Race Concept. The Design of McLaren MP4-12C GT3


The racing car variant called McLaren MP4-12C GT3 is designed together with a team of CRS Racing. The factory pilots will test MP4-12C in the races this year, and the following 20 cars be made available to private teams.  MP4-12C GT3 is elegance indeed because it was designed almost entirely in a virtual environment. The aerodynamics body was developed using methods of computational fluid dynamics, the control system is made ??available on a computer simulator. The new McLaren car will be the first-class carbon fiber monocoque with GT3. As the road car, the weight monocoque is only 75 kg.
The power of the engine MP4-12C GT3 is reduced to 100 hp compared with the road version: 600 hp to “modest” 500 hp. According to designers, it will make the car more balanced. On this McLaren MP4-12C GT3, 7-speed gearbox has been replaced by a 6-speed from the firm Ricardo, which is lighter by as much as 80 kg.
