Ssangyong Smart Interface Vehicles-1

At the Geneva Motor Show (07 - 17 March 2013), the South Korean Ssangyong wheel specialist will present the design study of the "Smart Interface Vehicles" -1 of the world public. This is the fourth concept study of the South Koreans in two years. With the SIV-1 now, a study for the segment of mid-size SUVs are presented.

The show then the dimension of the concept car: the SIV-1 is 4.50 meters long, 1.88 meters wide and 1.64 meters high. The wheelbase of 2.70 meters. Inmates can take in four individually positionable shell seats. With the SIV-1, the company wants to give a glimpse of his future design language.

Kia Forte 5 2014: More than a Facelift

In Chicago, the South Korean manufacturer has its model Forte 5 2014.

Among the most obvious changes, there is a new section before hosting a grid closer to make room for the more aggressive grille, which is reminiscent of the Mitsubishi Lancer Ralliart and Evo.

The main improvements to the Kia Forte 5 2014 found under the hood. The chassis is new, while the 4-cylinder 2.4-liter disappears from the landscape, the 4-cylinder 2.0-liter GDI (direct injection) to 173 hp is the new entry-level unit.

A new engine option joins the latter. It is a 4-cylinder 1.6-liter turbocharged, direct injection, which delivers a power of 201 horsepower.

In both cases, depending on the model, we find a manual gearbox or an automatic transmission, both 6-speed.

Kia Forte 5 2014 will find themselves concession within a few months.

2014 Chevrolet Spark EV

The all-electric version of the Chevrolet Spark small will be sold initially in California, Oregon, South Korea and of course Canada.

It is powered by an electric motor combined with a long battery life, which deliver a total force of 130 hp and an impressive torque of 400 lb-ft.

The Spark EV is the first all-electric car in North America to offer an optional rapid charging SAE DC to recharge 80% of the strength of the battery in just 20 minutes.
