Audi Crosslane Coupé in Paris 2012

At the Paris Motor Show, there is a concept car to see that no one had probably so on the screen: the Audi Crosslane Coupé, a plug-in hybrid with two electric motors. The engines are backed by a 1.5-liter three-cylinder TDI, which brings it to 130 hp, the total output is 177 hp. Only 1.1 liters per hundred kilometers, and should be obtained 26 grams of CO2 emitted per kilometer.

The curb weight of the 4.21 meter-long Audi Crosslane Coupé amounts to 1390 kg. This results from a mixture of aluminum and carbon fiber plastic for the body. Even fiberglass reinforced plastic applies here.

The single stage gear allows the coupe in 8.6 seconds from a standing reach the 100-km/h-Marke. At 182 km / h the limit is reached. An electric motor, which is connected to the motor, is also the starter and the generator. It provides in itself a power of 68 hp.

The second electric motor makes 116 hp and takes the electric traction. Up to 130 km / h can be driven on electric power. Then you can learn the three-cylinder engine from the first e-support machine. The Audi Crosslane Coupé is a 2 +2- seater with roof for removal.
