Limited Edition Alfa Rome Variant, Zagato TZ3 Stradale


The car variant named TZ3 Stradale by Alfa Romeo is inspired by Viper ACR. This new car variant is presented with vivid red exterior. This TZ3 Stradale has won the award of the Villa D’Este Design Concept Award in 2010. Unlike its predecessor which is named the TZ3 Corsa, the TZ3 Stradale is produced as limited edition car variant that will be available just in 9 units.
The first model is owned by Erik King, US Alfa Romeo and Zagato collector and Saratoga Automobile Museum’s board member. The n°2 and n°3 was announced by Zagato to be delivered in Europe and Japan. This limited edition car is designed with carbon fiber body, where the concept follows the Viper ACR mechanical chassis. The main design segments such as the typical Kamm-tail (K-tail) layout which is also presented in the TZ3 Corsa. The manufacturer explained, “According to this, the CX can be lowered by keeping compact volumes at the same time. The reduction of the wind resistance is assured with the Kamm Tail design, without any need of a very stretched “drop” shape of the tail.”
